It has been my long time dream to maintain and update a well read famous blog. I don't know if this is going to be a famous one but here I start with my first blog post :)
"Why do people write blogs? Aren't they redundant in this world already full of many things? It is a complete waste of time. In the nobody reads what you have written." I used to think in a similar way until I realized the scope of the knowledge provided by blogs. From arbit ramblings to specialized subjects, from travelogues to data download blogs, the blogs have it all! And thence I decided to join the elite league of bloggers.
What do I get from writing down whatever I know? I am quite poor in writing in English compared to all the great stalwarts present in different corners of the world. Writing a full time blog gives me the opportunity to write on various "arbit" topics. It also gives me a platform to express myself in writing in a way I have never done before. For the sake of putting in true facts and figures to prove my point, I will have to be well informed. These are the main motivating factors.
What do you get by reading it? Hmm... I don't know the answer to this question yet. I plan to write on various issues and topics which come to my notice. I also want to write reviews on books, music albums, movies etc. You will have to figure out if this will be of any help to you in any way.
How frequently will I update the blog? I know it is tough to commit yourself to a schedule. But I feel it would be binding on me if I commit before you that I will be writing this amount of stuff in this period of time. This will help me in updating the blog as regularly as possible. Otherwise it will remain "Just Another Blog" for years to come. So what will I update every week? I plan to include the review of a book I have read that week, movie I have seen and any new music released. In addition to this, there will also be an article on something which I find interesting in my daily peaceful life or something which the whole world is debating on. That comes to 4 posts a week! Great Expectations huh! Hope its not just words and I will be able to meet my expectations.
